Customer Privacy Policy

This Privacy Notice explaining our Privacy Policy is provided by Pinnacle Bancorp Inc., its affiliated banks: Pinnacle Bank – Wyoming, Pinnacle Bank – Texas, Pinnacle Bank – Nebraska, Bank of Colorado (collectively Pinnacle Banks) and their financial services affiliates named below. Our mission is to help you, our customer meet your financial goals. We strive to provide you with all the high quality products and very best services you need to do this. An “affiliate” for purposes of this notice means Pinnacle Bancorp Inc; Pinnacle Bank, Wyoming; Pinnacle Bank, Texas; Pinnacle Bank, Nebraska; and Bank of Colorado, and any company owned or controlled by them, or that is owned or controlled by the same company that owns them. Affiliates with which Pinnacle Banks may share information as described below include the Pinnacle Banks, Pinnacle Agency, LLC; Pinnacle Financial Services, LLC; Meeker Insurance Agency, Inc.; PFS Insurance Group, LLC; and Meeker Insurance, LLC. These affiliates provide insurance and other financial services. The Privacy Policy described in this Notice may be amended at any time. We will keep you informed of any applicable changes at least annually or as required by law. The Policy described here replaces all previous notices or statements.

Our Privacy Policy
We believe your privacy is of utmost importance, and we value your relationship and trust. Keeping your nonpublic personal information confidential and secure is an important part of our responsibility to you. “Nonpublic personal information” hereafter called “information” is data about you that we may obtain in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. This could include information such as account number(s), income, net worth, account balance(s) maintained with us, and your payment history, or overdraft history with us. It may also contain information on you that we have obtained from other sources such as credit reports. We take this responsibility very seriously.

Confidentiality and Security
We restrict access to your nonpublic personal information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products and services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

Information Collection and Use
By collecting and maintaining accurate customer information, we learn more about your needs and are better able to provide superior customer service to you.

We collect nonpublic personal information in order to:

  • Protect your accounts from unauthorized access or identity theft;
  • Provide superior service;
  • Provide you with products and services designed to meet your financial goals; and
  • Introduce you to special offers and opportunities available through our affiliates and others.

We collect and maintain nonpublic personal information from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications and other forms;
  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others; and
  • Information we receive from a third party, such as a consumer reporting agency.

Information Sharing

Because we value your relationship with us and respect your privacy, we will not disclose your information that is based upon your transactions or experience with us to anyone except those companies that perform marketing services on our behalf, our affiliates, other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements, or as permitted by the law. You have the right to opt out of disclosure of this information to our affiliates. Information about you we obtain that is not based upon your transactions or experience with us will not be shared with our affiliates, but may be shared with the other parties listed previously in this section. You do not have the right to opt out of disclosure of this information. 
 

Opting Out

If you prefer that we not share the types of information listed above with our affiliates, please sign below where indicated and give this brochure to any Pinnacle employee at one of our Pinnacle Banks or Bank of Colorado offices, or write to us at Pinnacle Bank/ Bank of Colorado, PO Box 598, Gretna, NE 68028 Attention: Compliance Department. You can also send opt out requests to: optout@pinnbank.com. Unless you indicate differently, all Opt Out requests will apply to all your accounts and will restrict all information sharing between affiliates. If a joint owner on an account with you has other accounts that you are not on, then this Opt Out will not apply to those accounts, unless that joint owner also opts out. Please provide your name, address, telephone number and account number(s) on your Opt Out request. If you have previously requested to Opt Out you need not make another request. Your Opt Out request will remain in place until revoked by you. Please contact your Pinnacle Bank or Bank of Colorado branch if you have questions.

Closed Accounts
If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will continue to safeguard your information as described in this privacy policy.
